May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so we asked the Hartstein Psychological Services team to share their thoughts on what mental health means to them, why it’s important to attend to it and how to ensure your mental health is a priority. Here's what they said:

December, the last month of the calendar year, is often a month of reflection—a time when we think back on the past 11 months. Sometimes our thoughts become flooded with joyful and happy memories, while other times our hearts are filled with pain and sorrow.
The winter holidays are typically stressful. Throw in Covid-19 and many of us are wondering what the holidays will look like this year. We might find ourselves having difficulty explaining to our children why we can’t see family, travel, or why we have to forgo our cherished holiday traditions.
